Awesome. I take people turkey hunting for about 6 weeks straight every spring and even w/ "high concentration" deet I still seem to pull a few ticks out every night. soaking your clothes in this product is probably the most cost effective way to proctect your clothes. However, realize that this product is really intended for mosquitos and ticks and that it might not protect you against flies, gnats, or other bothersome insects. Also, its difficult to guage how long it takes for the effectiveness to wear off. To be honest, I cannot attest to the effectiveness of Sawyer Permethtrin other than the fact that I have never been bitten while wearing treated clothes. However, I remember watching a mosquito land on my treated hat and then after a few moments flying away, unharmed. Using this product is a lot cheaper than buying the "buzz-off" branded clothes which have this treatment incorporated into the fabric. I will continute to use this product and will recommend it to others for whatever protection it might offer.

These worked great on my recent trip to Yosemite. As another reviewer said, the lid does not stay on securely after you pop it off to open the seal but it was a problem easily solved with masking tape. The wipes were easy to just hand out to my kids so they each didnt have to wait for another one to use the spray (I do also carry a pump spray). I found that one wipe would work for 2 people. The wipes do need to be thrown away after use so youll end up carrying used ones until you find a trash can.

Picaridin-based insecticides really work well! They keep the mosquitos at bay here in the dense woods of northern Michigan. But buy the pump or spray version of this product. We bought the wipes version thinking it would be good to carry in the car. Once you remove the orange plastic lid (which you must do to start the wipes), it will not re-attach securely. Every time you try to snag a wipe, the orange lid comes off. Worst of all, it just might fall off on its own and dump the active ingredient all over your car like it did with us. So now we have about 15 dry-ish wipes which are worthless, and a car interior that repels mosquitos. We callled Cutters 800 number to complain and they refunded our money on this product. And we went out and bought the pump version.
